General Instructions for Pilgrims

1. All Pilgrims who propose to visit Sri Kartarpur Sahib in district Narowal, Pakistan may register here in advance.
2. Applicant is required to register himself/herself in advance of proposed date of travel.
3. Registration does not confer a right to travel.
4. Applicants who are granted permission may be informed only 4 days before proposed date of travel. Therefore, Applicants should make their travel arrangements in advance.
5. Pilgrims will go in the morning and shall have to return the same day.
6. Pilgrims shall be allowed to visit only Sri Kartarpur Sahib and not anywhere outside.

Do's

1. Eco-friendly material, preferably cloth bags should be used & surroundings should be kept clean.
2. Currency limitation of maximum 11000/- INR must be followed.
3. Only one baggage upto 7 kg weight including drinking water may be carried.

Don'ts

1. Do not carry any item mentioned in the negative list

(Not to be carried while traveling through Kartarpur Sahib Corridor on either way)

(a) Firearms and ammunition
(b) Explosive substances
(c) Narcotic drugs and Psychotropic substances
(d) Knife and blade except all types of Kirpans
(e) Counterfeit currency notes, stamps and coins
(f) Maps and literature with incorrect depiction of external boundaries of India and Pakistan (both in physical as well as digital form)
(g) Literature, media items and objects including flags and banners, challenging territorial integrity of India and Pakistan or potentially damaging to communal harmony in India and Pakistan (both in physical as well as digital form)
(h) Any goods for commercial purpose for profit gain or commercial usage, as per applicable laws
(i) Radio transmitters not approved for normal usage
(j) Satellite phone
(k) Objects made of gold and silver, other than ornaments for personal use or for religious purposes, as per applicable laws
(l) Pornographic material
(m) Goods infringing the enforceable intellectual property rights
(n) Antiquities and art treasures
(o) Wildlife items and products
(p) Endangered species of plants and animals whether live or dead
(q) Wi-fi and broadband devices
(r) Liquor

2. Smoking, drinking and use of tobacco is not allowed inside Passenger Terminal Building(PTB) Complex
3. Do not touch any unattended article. Inform about anything suspicious to the authorities.
4. Playing loud music and photographing others without permission may not be done.

  • Shri Darbar Sahib

    Gurdwara Dera Baba Nanak is situated in the city Dera Baba Nanak which is located in Gurdaspur District of Punjab, India. It is about 1 kms from the Indo-Pakistan border and on the east bank of River Ravi.

  • Shri chola sahib

    GURDWARA LANGAR MANDIR CHOLA SAHIB, in the eastern part of the town, is connected with a relic a chola, or cloak, believed to have been presented to Guru Nanak by a Muslim devotee at Baghdad.
